Deeply unnerved if they post this and see it as a compliment...

iSword of Damocles has them unnerved...

as well as the expansion of eMagin, a leading manufacturer of microdisplays. #ThinkDutchess (yeah buddy)

Barra (Oculus) says 4 out of these 9 guesses are correct (include the ?s) leading up to Facebook's F8 FWIW (probably throw out mindreading and integrating everything into VR platform... would sound grandiose even for Musk and Bezos)

yeah drama

Terror free landings...

Thanks Lurker, looks like the new helmet is acquitting itself well through all the system checks, this is not related to Edwards but the Test Pilots, Flynn the top, remain giddy,

I just do not see why you would want to wait a few years for Kopin/Olightek Displays. They are available right now on Alibaba. The "demand" seems muted but at roughly $2 Million a year in revenue the Kopin/Olightek Partnership can only go up!

$2 Million, that is a lot of Thermal Scopes from Yukon, Pulsar and the rest of the Belarusian Thermal Sight OEMs.

This is not the take Paul Travers was looking for. Yes, the Blade does AR overlay like a Heads Up Display. Solos II, a little box ala Google Glass, merely a notification device. You could feel the tension at the CES Kopin Pep Rally as the sound of the iSword of Damocles hissed over their heads...

I feel you are misconstruing his word... listen again Derrick

I suppose so chouffe, you're right don't punch down...

however when I think of Fan I think of Action Jack Barker and his manifesto:

“The technology isn’t the product; the stock is the product”

This is trader980/emagin_is_bankrupt, you can see he's about 3 cylinders shy of a smooth running engine, he thinks go/pro and fitbit follow him on Twitter/ #crazy #sociopath and FYI Jason Stutman follows this loon

Herman Narula, Improbable - How we predict the future

SoftBank-Backed Improbable Seeks Deals With Top Game Publishers

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-09-05/softbank-backed-improbable-seeks-deals-with-top-game-publishers

This virtual reality startup is now worth $1 billion (why doesn't ARM or Softbank buy you know what)

http://money.cnn.com/2017/05/12/technology/improbable-unicorn-uk-softbank/index.html

Catch cutting-edge sponsored sessions from Improbable, Apple and more at GDC 2018 (without the comma after Improbable this might just a tad more confusing than it is...)

Improbable finding themselves in good company at GDC 2018. Improbable is a Virtual Reality Company, with Offices in London and San Fran, acquired by Softbank for $500 Million. Cloudminds/Immerex Cinemas? Next Gen Gaming? Occasionally our minds do clear with a break in the clouds until the gloaming returns. The headline is an interesting juxtaposition.

I can see a VR Tourism Tie-in here, trip planning, sites to visit, restaurants, etc.

【SoftBank World 2017】 The future of AI and Cloud Robotics / Bill Huang (...

The scuttlebutt is Spielberg is folding some Magic Leap stuff into Ready Player One.

Maybe getting to the point where we all just go fishing. Try some new lures and wait for the End.

So a "stealth" start-up in Santa Clara is building the Oasis with Softbank, ARM, Cloudminds, Immerex, Apple and God knows who else...

Ready Player One?...Nope

Cloudminds is pretty strange, bet you didn't know you'll have your own Household Robot in 7 years...(I get the need for the best displays for "prolonged immersion". Not quite getting the connection with "Virtual Assistance and Humanoid Bots and VR"

Immerex, a pioneer in virtual reality, recently announced one of the world's lightest portable VR headsets, with one of the highest resolutions and lowest latency on the market, creating the most comfortable immersive experience by reducing motion sickness during long-term immersion in virtual reality environments.  Immerex holds the vision to br/ing virtual reality – the last screen for entertainment – to everyone's life and enhance the entertainment experience to a whole new level.

Roy Taylor leaves AMD, AMD Studios gets reshuffled...(yes, we want MORE eNigma...)

https://www.tweaktown.com/news/60959/roy-taylor-leaves-amd-studios-gets-reshuffled/index.html

Eugene, here's the extent of their web presence. "Immerex" vanished now "LUCI Global." Always another layer of the onion to peel off.

https://www.luciglobal.com/

LUCI Virtual Reality Headsets (Very slick post AMD partner?)

E3 2016: Immerex Debuts New HMD & VR Solutions (Pre-AMD partnership)

It's confusing Eugene. Immerex is ...

one the mystery "Specified Investors." However they no longer have a website, very little info on the web. I assume very few knew of them before CES and a few less afterwards. They at one time were "Hypervision" then Immerex. They released an HMD a few years back that drew little attention. Their entries at CES this year, LUCI and a as yet higher res, no-demo display in plexiglass, version ALYX, seemed to make an impression on everyone who held or demoed them. Their former (?) CEO Adam Li is now with AMD. I'm guessing that LUCI and ALYX are the HMDs Roy Taylor has been alluding too in public. "We've been working with a company in New York eMagin." "It's beautiful I can't wait to show it to you." He has used photos of eMagin's "Steampunk" VR Headset in public venues. Roy Taylor is focused on a device that can display VR and 3D content apart from FPS and stuff like getting eaten by sharks. Immerex rep at CES stated the target demographic was travelers, airlines, commuters etc. Aiming high as it were. They, ostensibly Immerex (AMD) have a partner Cloudminds, a Chinese outfit that has recently partnered with "Immerex" on coupling VR to AI and robotics with a goal to create VR experiences in 3000 cinemas around the world. Their aspirations go much further but that's an easy first step to get a handle on the present situation. Immerex appears to be a beard for AMD, a name that draws no attention to itself. Sound familiar?
Punch in Immerex, Cloudminds in the search box at the top. Their are some intriguing articles that lead to very large entities.

Now that's Due Diligence. Lurker went through the 2019 Defense Budget Estimates

US Based OLED related starts with FWS starts on Page 366 with the totals for the program and travels through the different designations, Individual, Crew, Sniper. DRS and BAE own the lion's share. The years 2019-2021 are the peak years. Take a look. It's been common knowledge that those companies will integrate US based OLED displays into all three. I see a very small number allocated to N2 who I believe represents (represented?) Kopin's participation in the program. Possibly, subject to change since UTC acquired Rockwell? A few pages down is JETS, another interesting system.

The Promises and Challenges of EUV at GlobalFoundries

https://www.pcmag.com/article/359301/the-promises-and-challenges-of-euv-at-globalfoundries

From the Self-Same Miesnieks Essay... Maybe Matt is such an insider that he and only he knows of a company called e-magin that makes OLED microdisplays! What say you Phan-tom Basher!

A high-res OLED microdisplay from e-magin, suitable for a HMD (or a Watch). The image is projected into the waveguide which spreads it over the plastic lens in the glasses so you can see it in front of your face.

This is Crazy, Phan said they dropped the "Stealth Mode" schtick long ago. How can This be? Oh I see looks like they are Dumping Derrick and Trashing Trader980 for Viral Marketing on Twitter! Excellent Idea. If those are you public face you're in trouble...no cred Sad! Trader980 will be forced to eat tree bark and dandelions!

Here's an interesting theory regards Dr. Phan seeming desperation as too share price. Who goes to AWE and talks about obsolete Raytheon Weapons Sights and the PPS? Craven.

$KOPN trader980 tsmokey emagin_is_bankrupt = 1 person with multiple ids. He is Dr Fan himself. He gets 1.3M when SP hits 5.25. What a shame

Incredible M. Night Shyamalan Plot Twist (Spoiler Alert!) Dr. Phan Reveals We Need PHYSICAL WORLD! OMG! (good part, last minute, no need to bother with the rest, unintelligible, whoops for dear leader, NORK cheerleaders?)
